Northern Indiana based post-rock group Darkroom announces plans to record their second studio album, Stay Here with Me (for better or for worse), this summer. They will begin tracking the album July 6 at Leyden Lane Studios in Colorado Springs, CO. Over two years after the release of A Curious Excavation (March 2007), Stay Here with Me… will reflect a selection of songs created over the past 18 months of songwriting and touring. Listeners can expect Darkroom’s new record to push the envelope of standard song structure and arrangements, while never neglecting pop smarts or their high regard for melody.
The album is expected to debut late this fall, but the official release date has not been determined. A video promoting the band’s recording plans can be found on their myspace (http://myspace.com/darkroommusic) and website (http://da.rkroom.com)
